I have always had a love of art from a young age, especially etching and photography, watching and learning from my dad and older brother who are both professional photographers.
In 2017 I was able to devote my time fully to my craft. It was when I went out with another photographer friend and his Dachshund Savvy that I realised I loved shooting animals more than the landscape. From then on I was hooked, and I practised with my own dogs and cat in the garden or out on walks to develop both skill and my unique style of pet photography.
In 2018 we built a fully equipped studio at my family home in Cumbria, The Lake District. Using high speed Broncolor flash I am able to freeze motion beautifully. I use the space and equipment to achieve the same quality and beauty that you would find in a classic portraiture, capturing the character and beauty of your pet.
